Randall Wallace "R.W." Patterson, 92, of Sonora, died Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at Woodland Terrace Health Care Facility.
He was a native of Sacramento, KY, a WWII Army veteran and was retired from civil service at Ft. Knox. He was a member of Severns Valley Baptist Church for 61 years and was a door greeter and usher.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Naoma Wilkins Patterson and by his parents, Hayden and Lottie Hudson Patterson.
He is survived by a daughter, Brenda Patterson (Justus) Duncan of Sonora and a granddaughter, Joyce Duncan of Louisville.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Roger McCurry officiating. Burial, with military honors, will be in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m.Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
